Where Fox Tutoring Started

My name is Helen Hopper Fox. I started Fox Tutoring in 2022 when I decided to leave the classroom after seven years. I taught in Baltimore, Maryland, for four years and in San Antonio, Texas, for three years.

When I started teaching, I knew I wanted to be a teacher forever. Teaching literature and writing has always been my passion. However, after becoming sick, largely due to stress, I realized that the teaching profession was no longer sustainable for me long term.

I knew I still wanted to help students succeed by leveraging my knowledge and expertise, so Fox Tutoring was born.

 

I learned that my enthusiasm for teaching and learning and fierce persistence help me inspire students and evolve as an entrepreneur. ​​​
